Welcome to The
Mountainaire Campground and RV Park, an old fashioned country
campground. The kind of place where happy family memories are
made.
Central to
the Island, just south of Nanaimo, on a lovely 40 acre property
near the famous Nanaimo River, we have about 100 beautiful
sites. From wide open and sunny to sheltered and shady, fully
service RV sites to private little campsites on which to pitch a
tent, we have a site that's sure to please you.
We cater to families here, and the sounds
of children laughing ring through the park mingled with the
sites and smells of food cooked over an open fire. The
playground buzzes with kids, there's horseshoes for the adults,
and coming soon, beach volleyball.
There's catch and release fishing in our
private pond, cut throat as long as 17 inches have been fished
this year.
Or hike through fern gully
down to the Crystal Bowl Swimming Hole. Spectacular views, great
swimming, cliff diving, and hiking are all here for you to
explore.
